Georgia D’Arcy

Georgia is the very proud director of DSS where students/ teachers and parents have the best bond and create a lovely happy and fun atmosphere for everyone to excel in. Georgia works incredibly hard each and every class and encourages students to reach their full potential.

Georgia trained at ITALIA CONTI and LAINE THEATRE ARTS and has an ISTD teaching Qualification and a NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN PERFORMING ARTS.

In the DSS Kent school Georgia teaches ISTD Classical Ballet in all grades and the higher level Modern and Tap grades. She teaches all Musical Theatre weekly too which students learn numbers for our special shows!

In the DSS London school {Georgia is the only dance teacher currently} Georgia teaches ISTD Ballet/ Tap and Modern and Musical Theatre.

In both schools Georgia holds exam practices where she teaches students in Ballet/Tap/Modern in all grades towards their exams. We boast gaining top marks and grades in our ISTD exams.

Georgia is first aid trained, DBS checked, licensed chaperone, safegaurding level 2 trained, safegaurding children with SEND trained and safegaurding children in entertainment trained x

ABIGAYLE MOORE

Abi trains locally at the professional dance college MEPA!

She is on a professional dance training course and performing in their professional college shows.

Abi is an extremely talented dancer and we are so lucky to have her as our Kent Street/Lyrical dance teacher plus our Stretch/ Core and dance tricks teacher! Our students will be able to learn lots of different styles and technique from Abi like commercial, jazz, lyrical, street and stretch!

Abigayle has a huge passion for dance and lI am so excited for her to pass on her skills to our students. Her energy and talent shines through in our street classes!

Abi is DBS checked.

RACHEL BURNS

Rachel is our tap teacher in our Kent school for Pre-Primary through to Grade 4! Rachel has passed all her ISTD Tap exams up to and including Grade 4 and has rhythm and music running through her bones! She is an absolute natural with children {her two girls have danced at DSS since 2 years old} and always has the biggest smile and a huge amount of energy! Rachel works at a secondary school as a counsellor and is fantastic at helping all of our students {not just tap} at classes or backstage with nerves or any concerns they may have!

Rachel is first aid trained and DBS checked and a licensed chaperone x

Tina Courtman

Tina is our receptionist and LAMDA teacher in Kent. Tina welcomes our students old and new with a huge smile lots of warmth and helps them throughout the day if they need anything. Tina makes sure all students are signed in and out safely to parents and will be the person to collect uniform from too. Tina is a huge part of our school all students are taken to Tina if they inure themselves or feel unwell and Tina has all parent contacts at the ready too.

Tina is a fabulous teacher and brings out the best in our students with their LAMDA! We are very lucky to have Tina as the backbone to our school!
Tina is DBS checked, trained in safeguarding and first aid trained x

LEANNE JONES

Leanne Jones is our SINGING TEACHER!

She does 1-1 singing lessons with our lucky students.

Leanne is a professional performer with a wealth of experience!

Leanne has an OLIVIER AWARD for her performances in the HAIRSPRAY musical!
